I’ve been using WordPress now for several years. As I’ve said before, it’s a great tool (Drupal is terrific as well; I’m working on a website implementation with it right now). I’m in a WordPress dashboard pretty much every day.

Here are a few must-have plugins I have to tell you about:

Three must-have WordPress plugins.

Three must-have WordPress plugins.

  • Statpress: A great, basic statistics package that shows you lots of data about who’s visiting your site. Download the plugin and you’ll immediately have insight. Sure, Google Analytics is wonderful, but Statpress is just right for a small blog operation. I find it indispensable. More here.
  • All in One SEO: A great, basic package to help you optimize your website. It is basic, and you may quickly outgrow it, but it’s a terrific way to get started. More here.
  • WordPress Importer: If you want to consolidate several blogs into one, or you want to import old content into a new blog, you can do much worse that this plugin. All it takes is a couple of clicks and you’re set. More here.

I could go on. There are certainly more than three great WP plugins. But these are my current faves. Have any of your own? Let me know.
